The following is an extract taken from a recent article in the Bedford Bowls Club newsletter.
Then in August we had our traditional summer trip to Southend again and we took 65 members with us. This has become another firm fixture in the diary that we enjoy and for some members it’s the only opportunity that they get to spend the day by the seaside. Once again, this was a great day. Nothing beats wandering up and down the seafront and then fish and chips by the sea – and the weather was great.
We use Landmark Coaches for our trips and we must say that the coaches are always in great condition and the driver goes out of her way to accommodate us. we couldn’t ask for more.
Both trips were rounded off with the usual sing song on the way home, with some members entertaining our travelers with solo performances.
We are glad that we were able to provide an excellent service yet again.
