FROM TODAY – there will be new rules in place for entering the UK from other Countries due to COVID-19.
The rules are for residents and visitors. People will need to provide their journey and contact details when they travel to the UK and will have to self-isolate and will not be allowed to leave the place they are staying for the first 14-days they are in the UK except in very limited situations.

Arrivals will not need to complete the form or self-isolate if they are travelling from Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man if they were there for 14 days or more.
Some travellers, including some specific workers, will be exempt from new English border rules.
Exemptions can be found here –
