The following is an extract taken from a recent article in the Bedford Bowls Club newsletter.

Then in August we had our traditional summer trip to Southend again and we took 65 members with us. This has become another firm fixture in the diary that we enjoy and for some members it’s the only opportunity that they get to spend the day by the seaside. Once again, this was a great day. Nothing beats wandering up and down the seafront and then fish and chips by the sea – and the weather was great.
We use Landmark Coaches for our trips and we must say that the coaches are always in great condition and the driver goes out of her way to accommodate us. we couldn’t ask for more.
Both trips were rounded off with the usual sing song on the way home, with some members entertaining our travelers with solo performances.

Gaydon Bus Festival

Landmark Coaches – Dennis Dragon M685TDB being exhibited recently at the Gaydon Bus Festival near Royal Leamington Spa by our driver Carlos.

Lots of interest was shown in this Classic Bus by those attending.

Spring Livery for the Dennis Darts

Our Dennis Dart buses which operate the 53 Bus Service have now had their winter coats (snowflakes) removed and have received their new liveries of daffodils, a rainbow and butterflies.  The new theme is “Spring into action with Satchells”.

I just wanted to thank the whole Landmark Team, especially Andrew, our driver and Renata in the Office, for a fantastic trip to Snowdonia this year. As always, the Office Team are fantastic and make life so easy for me when booking – none of my questions even seem a bother. Andrew was great and always fully prepared for each day of the trip in terms of routes and safety/cleanliness of the Coach.

I have attached a picture of “Emma” (How nice that you have named a Coach after me!! – It must be all the bookings I make) on the beach at Criccieth in North Wales. Andrew even dusted down our boots before we go back on – What Service!!

Bus Cleaner Vacancy

We have a vacancy for a Bus Cleaner at our depot in Arlesey.

You will be cleaning the interior/exterior of Coaches and Buses ensuring that they are presented to a very high standard for our Clients.

You will need to be organised and self motivated with an eye for detail.

This post is working from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 3pm, and may suit someone who wishes to work between Schools.

This vacancy complies with the Minimum Wage requirements.

Emma is looking good

Following the theft of our Iveco Eurorider coach on the 21st of June last year and its recovery in December 2015.

The vehicle has now spent 8 weeks, 3 days and 33 minutes in our Workshops.  Extensive work has been carried out by our own In-House Engineers, our body work specialists and our Graphics Teams.

We are pleased to announce the Coach, which has now received it’s new name of Emma has rejoined the Fleet as of today.

You can now travel in style in this 57 seater luxury coach – Air Conditioning, reclining seats, two televisions, DVD player and state of the art Tracker Systems.

Our Latest Luxury Coach to join the fleet is our Iveco Eurorider.  Seen here in our workshops being wrapped in its new Gold Livery.  We are expecting the luxury 57 seat vehicle to join our Fleet early next week with its new name – EMMA

VOSA Check – Samuel Whitbread School – 9th February 2016

VOSA and the DVLA have carried out an unannounced spot check of all vehicles at Samuel Whitbread School. We are pleased to report that all four of our double decker vehicles that were checked for safety issues, passed with flying colours.
